I also got a load-bearing knee brace, the one Mad Max in the Road Warrior wears. It is supposed to offer more support than my regular neoprene brace: This seems like a good support

I might get a partial knee replacement this fall because most of the wear is on the inside of my right knee. The ortho surgeon seems to really like doing partial's because they are easier.

Then you must go for it. Don't let it deteriorate anymore. How was the pain now? How long do you have to stay in hospital?

I'll probably be out of hospital the same day. Recovery is several months.

Some days it hurts like hell and some day it hardly hurts at all.

Same day? Sounded like a simple procedure but the matter is the recovery period. So, you better not move around too much that could prolong the recovery. Do you take meds for the pain?

I'm just looking at a partial on one knee. Actually they want you to move around as that speeds recovery. Trazadone, Ibuprofen and Voltaren creme. American medicine is all about getting you out of the hospital and home to recover. Saves them a lot of money.

I hate that your knee(s) are giving you fits. From my wife’s experience, the injections will continue until you finally say ‘replacement’.

It isn't up to me. The doctor won't authorize it until it gets much worse.
