Once upon a time, Twitter was the social media gathering place for many people in the naturism and social nudism communities.
But not so much anymore since Elon Musk bought the platform. Now, since the U.S. election last week, there appears to be an exodus from the platform, with many people joining the Bluesky social media site.
I expect the exodus will accelerate in the days and weeks to come now that Musk will be working for Donald Trump in an official capacity to reduce the numbers of government workers in Washington. I have no idea if Musk will put Twitter in some sort of blind trust while he fulfills his task assigned by the incoming president. But I am wary of government interference on that site. So, I’m winding up my X (a.k.a. Twitter) account and have set myself up in Bluesky, which is bustling with excitement right now.
One of the cool things is that users can set up feed channels on various themes. There are several now, but no naturism feeds yet. I looked into creating one, but I will leave it to someone who is more familiar with tech stuff. I feel Bluesky shows great promise for naturists and social nudists.
I think there are some readers here who could set it up, including Evan, Simon, Fred and others. If you feel like you want to do it, please leave a note in the comments section letting everyone know.
And if you join the site or are already there, let us know in the comments section so we can follow you.
Cheers
The folks from ournaturistlife.bsky.social created a naturist “starter pack” that has fifty naturists they deem worth following: https://go.bsky.app/UdV4vK1
There are a few feeds I’ve found, none I’ve particularly followed.
Just opened an account but have to figure out how it works.
