I found this a very enjoyable, pleasant read, thank’s.

Not scary, aggressive or challenging at all!

Just normal , healthy adventurous fun.

Much more pleasant than reading an inch by inch detailed description of your impromptu circumcision !

Think on the snow that will come soon enough!

An impromptu circumcision???? Whoah! 😨

Who wrote that?

I read a well written post you made here a few months ago that depicted a well detailed description of a painful accident you had losing grip on a smooth steep decline while on a hike the the hills.

I thought enough time had passed that it could be compared with a touch og sarcastic humour.

Sincerely sorry to have offended in any way.

Ron

No offense at all.

It is the kind of horror post that someone might have made somewhere.

But I'll say something...

That was when I discovered how valuable a foreskin can be. Without it I would have even more suffered excruciating pain. As sensitive as it is, a glans is much more so. 😱

You could kind of say it was a "peak" experience.

Good reading and great photos!! I'm heading out tomorrow to hike a couple of trails by a small lake reservoir here in Okla. K and I have hiked them many times nude and I will do it again tomorrow. She's on a girls trip so I'm solo. Staying cool will be the trick, predicted high 100+.

Great photos. How did the rest of your companions react when you shed all your clothes? If you were in good enough physical shape would you make that ascent again?

You were taking a risk at that time of year. An unexpected snowstorm could have buried you. Not likely but it could have happened.

Any more experiences like this you'd like to share?

It is like I said, you don't get to be close friends with me and not anticipate this might happen. I've known them both for 40+ years and the woman used to be my landlady. (They got married soon after this.) She's completely used to it.

"It's just Fred being Fred." they said.

I would definitely do it again. I still hike when and where I can. My problem is that my right knee is in a sad state. Cortisone injections keep me going. I've posted a number of freehiking trips here. I'll probably do more in the future.

I usually prefer to do an entire hike naked but if there are people ahead I often wait until I have passed them. Not always, though. Depends on my awareness of local law and customs.

We started out with cold weather gear and it very quickly became apparent it was unneeded. It was an unnaturally warm October day, warm enough for me to go naked at 10K feet elevation in midday. Of course I checked the weather very thoroughly. No chance of a storm coming through. I have been in the mountains in a surprise snow storm before.
