Good riddance, July!
Summer so far has hardly brought any naturism weather to my neck of the woods. We’ve had far more rain and crazy thunderstorms than usual here in the Laurentian hills north of Montreal, along with smoke from forest fires in northern Quebec that has kept us indoors some days for obvious health reasons. Smoke from wildfires across Canada has also been affecting many Americans’ quality of life.
Still, we’re faring a lot better than many people around the world, who have been suffering through extreme heat and/or flooding, and there are predictions August will serve up more of the same for them.
I’m sure many people are looking forward to autumn, when cooler weather arrives.
How has the weather this summer been affecting your outdoor naturism recreation?
New writers welcome here
As always, the monthly open forums are designed for members to talk about all things related to naturism and social nudism, i.e. you are not limited to talking about the weather here this month.
And a warm welcome to all the new members here.
A note to them and everyone else: Critiquing mainstream news and feature reports on naturism and social nudism is one of the things I do here, considering I have been a newspaper copy editor all my life. I try to be as objective as possible, but obviously my personal opinions may be evident, too. You are free to disagree with my opinions, for sure. But one reader last month took exception to the very fact that I offered an opinion on an article. So, a heads up: that is one of the themes of this newsletter platform, along with wonderful features by our dear friend Fred Heiser and the occasional articles by other members.
If you would like to do some writing for The Naturism Community, please leave a note in the comments section here.
May August bring us all better naturism weather!

I understand that this year so far there has been more area burned in Canada than in the ten previous years combined. Something similar may have resulted in the Dark Day of 1780.

I have not enjoyed any outdoor nakedness for a couple of months due to a combination of heat and really bad knees.
Somewhere there must be a middle of the road nice nude weather
