The calendar says it’s spring. But the thermometer on my deck begs to differ. Winter comes early and stays late in my little corner of the Great White North in Canada. It will be at least a month before we can sunbathe in the buff here.
But I know many readers here are in much warmer areas of the world and are already enjoying freehiking and skinnydipping, while others living Down Under are still able to get out and about in the buff as autumn sets in.
Feel free to tell us about your April naturism activities in the comments section of this post.
And for those of you who write blogs, newsletters and other naturism-related publications and/or produce podcasts, please feel free to tell us about them, too, and post links to them here. But do post more than a link: give us a paragraph or two about the focus of your publication.
As an editor for a mainstream newspaper, I spend 7 hours a day (or more) 5 days a week on my work computer. Then in my personal time, I’m spending more time on my personal laptop as well as my smartphone and tablet. My eyes do get tired, and I am sure many others who spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen can relate to that. Which is why I appreciate good podcasts: I can just close my eyes and listen.
I came across a site featuring naturism podcasts the other day, and I plan to settle in and listen to one later today (my day off). It’s called The Naked Age, and it says it is “a historical audio series exploring incredible people who have gone to extraordinary lengths to incorporate nudity into their lives.” I love the theme and will probably review some of the podcasts in a post here later in April.
So, this is your monthly forum, open to all members to chat about all things naturism. Enjoy.
And do remember to click on the “Leave a comment” tab below so that your comment will appear on the site. Please don’t hit the “Reply” tab to this email because that comment would only come to my email account. You can also go directly to our website and post your comment there.
Happy April to all. And Happy Spring and Happy Fall, depending on where you live.
Cheers

I think I mentioned my blogs here before. They aren't specifically nudist blogs but they have a fair amount of nudist content.

Last few months I have been somewhat shut down as far as hiking goes. I have a damaged ACL and on top of that I've developed plantar fasciitis. Not sure when I'll get back into the swing of things. Through inactivity I seem to have put on a few unwelcome pounds.
Tonight I'm going to the Two Roads Theater in Studio City for the Nude Comedy LA show. We haven't had one for many months due to the COVID situation. The theme tonight will be "April Ghouls." It is a comedy/improv/variety show where all the performers and guests are nude. It is sponsored by AANR, SoCal Naturists, and the Clothing Optional B&B Network.

That's my current life and times.
A good post Jill, eliciting some very interesting comments. Reading about folks actually able to spend time outdoors naked, while I’m sitting inside watching the snow melt leaves my soul and mind strongly focused on my early morning (sunrise) swims.
The fresh, smooth tingle of the water directly on my skin is already calling….
Maybe the first few dips will be in my spring wet suit….. yup I admit to wimpism !
