If there is a story that best captures the spirit of Christmastime, it would be Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, I think. Especially this quotation, when Marley the ghost is reproaching his old business partner, Ebenezer Scrooge, who has just told the spirit that he had always been “a good man of business”:
“Business!” cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. “Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were all my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!”
I think it is a message that naturists in general innately understand very well, because we’re all about stripping away society’s veneers in different ways — quite literally with textiles, but it goes much deeper than that. Naturists are making a statement to the world by declaring their interest in naturism and all it entails, including harmony with nature and respect for the environment.
To me, naturism is about more than feeling the summer breeze caressing my naked body. It’s about a more holistic lifestyle and the sense of brotherly/sisterly love that naturally accompanies it.
So, with those thoughts in mind, I wish all in The Naturism Community a happy Christmastime. May the spirit of the season be in our hearts all year round.

You'd have to set it somewhere tropical or in the southern hemisphere. 😀
From your post Jill, and from the article you attached, you gave us all a wonderfully heart felt, meaningfully, significant seasonal wish for a truly better world for us all.
Nuff said for today… but good thoughts to have to bring wish us all into the new year….
Thanks!
