A trip north of L.A. for an outing in the Los Padres National Forest

Topographic map of the route that I took. It was about 3.5 miles each way. If you look at the green boundary line you can see it is a notch into the Sespe Wilderness, probably to allow the rancher to be able to drive back there. Nobody has driven this way for decades.
